We strive to continue to excel in being the number one farms in providing top quality royal products, to nurture the needs for our customers

Tamara Farms represents the agricultural branch of Naouri Group in Jordan; one of the largest Transport, Logistics, and Tourism groups in the Middle East. Our farms are located in the Northern part of the Jordan valley, as well as in the northern part of Jordan, as each area has a special climate, perfect for meeting the needs of our variety of products.

The blessed Jordan Valley is not like any other. It is located at the lowest area in the world. It stands below sea level down to about 400 meters. There, it is almost sunny all the year in fact it is the perfect shell for Mejdool, Barhi and all other Date Palm trees, offering high temperatures and low humidity.

We have come to benefit from it, by providing the highest and newest planting techniques, which include providing Propagation and crop management; Crop protection and integrated Pest Management (IPM); Post? harvest handling and processing techniques; Biotechnology and germplasm conservation.

We have also invested in the most up-to-date, dates grading and cleaning machine in the Middle East, to ensure top of the notch quality products in the market.

1 Propagation and crop management

Improving date palm productivity per unit of water and rationalizing the use of the available water resources to ensure sustainability.

Determining water and nutritional requirements for different irrigation systems, cultivars, environmental conditions, soil types, qualities of irrigation water (saline and sewage), and with different fertilizers.

2 Crop protection and integrated Pest Management (IPM)

Developing proper IPM programs to control the pests and diseases of date palms.

3 Post-harvest handling and processing techniques

Improve proper post-harvest handling and processing techniques such as handling, packaging, storage, and transportation.

4 Biotechnology and germplasm conservation

To identify, classify and DNA-fingerprint local date palm varieties:
- Develop genomic tools for germplasm characterization.

- Assess genetic diversity among date palm cultivars.

- Assess abnormalities found in the tissue culture derived from date palms.

Tamara Farms with the assistance of one of the most prestigious agricultural Italian companies “Green technology”, has developed the one and the only machine in Jordan to sort and clean our precious Dates products, to maintain them in the most perfect shape when reaching our customers.

6 Storing

Tamara Farms is self-sufficient from A to Z.

- We have our own fridges where we store our dates in the most compatible temperature with high control of humidity,24\7.

- We also have our own packaging with grated Cardboard boxes special for maintaining the dates, in the most suitable environment, with a higher shelf life.
